Sallasutte pi vuttanayam etaṃ. Oraṃ vassasatā pi miyyatī ti vassasatā oraṃ kalalādikāle pi miyyati. Aticcā ti vassasataṃ atikkamitvā. Jarasā pi miyyatī ti jarāya pi miyyati.
Mamāyite ti mamāyitavatthukāraṇā. Vinābhāvasantam ev’idan ti santavinābhāvaṃ vijjamānavinābhāvam eva idaṃ, na sakkā avinābhāvena bhavitun ti vuttaṃ hoti.
Māmako ti mama upāsako bhikkhu vā ti saṅkhaṃ gato, buddhādīni vā vatthūni mamāyamāno.
Saṅgatan ti samāgataṃ diṭṭhapubbaṃ vā. Piyāyitan ti piyaṃ kataṃ.
Nāmaṃ yevāvasissati akkheyyan ti sabbaṃ rūpādi dhammajātaṃ pahīyati, nāmam attam eva tu avasissati “buddharakkhito, dhammarakkhito” ti evaṃ saṅkhātuṃ kathetuṃ.
Munayo ti khīṇāsavamunayo. Khemadassino ti nibbānadassino.
Sattamagāthā evaṃ maraṇabbhāhate loke anurūpapaṭipattidassanatthaṃ vuttā. Tattha patilīnacarassā ti tato tato patilīnaṃ cittaṃ katvā carantassa, bhikkhuno ti kalyāṇaputhujjanassa sekkhassa vā. Sāmaggiyam āhu tassa taṃ, yo attānaṃ bhavane na dassaye ti tass’etaṃ patirūpam āhu, yo evaṃ paṭipanno nirayādibhede bhavane attānaṃ na dasseyya. Evañ hi so imamhā maraṇā mucceyyā ti adhippāyo.
Idāni yo “attānaṃ bhavane na dassaye” ti evaṃ khīṇāsavo vibhāvito, tassa vaṇṇabhaṇanatthaṃ ito parā tisso gāthāyo āha. Tattha sabbatthā ti dvādasasu āyatanesu.
Yad idaṃ diṭṭhasutaṃ mutesu vā ti ettha pana yad idaṃ diṭṭhasutaṃ, ettha vā mutesu vā dhammesu evaṃ muni na upalimpatī ti evaṃ sambandho veditabbo.
Dhono na hi tena maññati, yad idaṃ diṭṭhasutaṃ mutesu vā ti atrāpi yad idaṃ diṭṭhasuttaṃ, tena vatthunā na maññati, mutesu vā dhammesu na maññatī ti evam eva sambandho veditabbo. Na hi so rajjati no virajjatī ti, bālaputhujjanā viya na rajjati, kalyāṇaputhujjanasekkhā viya na virajjati, rāgassa pana khīṇattā “virāgo” tv eva saṅkhaṃ gacchati. Sesaṃ sabbattha pākaṭam evā ti.
Desanāpariyosāne caturāsītiyā pāṇasahassānaṃ dhammābhisamayo ahosī ti.
